Wish I had known that back then when I was raging over Jak II and its impossible segment on those woodden bridges above the water with all the gun-equipped enemies spawning nearly endlessly that kept obliterating me over and over until I finally got rid of the game. What a disappointment that was after Jak & Daxter the Precursor Legacy... ('-_-)

I agree on that. I finished Horizon Zero Dawn not too long ago and absolutely loved it, but there's one area where the game could have been better, and it's as an RPG. There's not enough loot, not enough equipment, weapons, items, and it's a bit barebones for an RPG. If there's ever a sequel, which I really hope there'll be, it needs to be more fleshed out. For a start, the damage inflicted to enemies cannot be always the same. You see the same arbitrary number pop out...
I'm not sure Shuhei Yoshida, or anybody else over there in Tokyo has a say in how these games developped by the studios in N. America or Europe come to fruition, to be honest. Cool. I've been thinking about getting the game on the PS3, even though I still own it on the PS2, because it featured the Streets of Rage games and had the arcade version of golden axe as an extra, which the PS2 did not. Here's hoping they will be on the PS4.

It's a given. Sony would be seen as an anti-consumer company if they didn't do it, after Microsoft have done so much in this regard during this gen.
I just can't think of any excuse Sony might have to explain why we can't play at the very least our PS1, PS2, and Mini games bought during the PS3 days on our PS4. PS3 games I see why (well, the disc-based games at any rate), the others I can't. No excuse at all, period.
How do we do that? Unlock the full game from the demo I mean?
9 to 10 Tflops wouldn'be big enough a technological gap for a system coming out in late 2020 when the Xbox One X is already at 6 Tflops. It managed to add 1,8 Tflops compared to the PS4 Pro while releasing only a year later. That wouldn't add up. Almost 3 more years in the making just to add 3 or 4 Tflops compared to the X? Nah, they (both MS & Sony) can and must come up with more than that.
So do I, but these days it's getting incredibly difficult to get your hands on PS1 games. The good ones at least. Luckily I bought mine again some then years ago, so I managed to find titles like Doom, Final Doom, Lomax, or Star Parodius at decent prices, but there are still many more I would like to have in physical form, not just as downloaded games on my PS3, but *cough cough* 120€ minimum for Castlevania Symphony of the Night or Suikoden... :(

The PS App sounds cool, until you realize it's barely useful for a couple of games like Watch_Dogs or Metal Gear Solid V. The message app, however, is terrific. Still, I wonder if I can use that app to connect a DS4 on my Sony Xperia Z tablet from 2013. It would be cool to be able to use the DualShock 4 to play the NES/SNES/MS/Genesis emulators, but I can't find the scan option on my tablet...
Yeah well I'm not against it personnally, there are still so many PS3 games I haven't bought yet, like Split/Second, Puppetteer, or Ni no Kuni. I would like remasters for those games on the PS4. Bioshock 1 for example, I own it on the PS3, but I'm still cool with them releasing it along with its two sequels on the PS4, if I get 1080p @ 60fps, even better when the game gets support for native 4K on my PS4 Pro like with Skyrim.
